And Mudryk finally broke his duck after 23 games without hitting the back of the net since joining in an £88million move in January.

The Ukrainian, 22, brilliantly took down Levi Colwill’s lofted pass before firing under Bernd Leno to give Chelsea the lead.

He sprinted off celebrating for the first time in a Blues shirt, but some supporters were more drawn to the response of Fernandez and Caicedo.

As Mudryk headed for the corner, Fernandez turned and jumped into the arms of Caicedo as the pair embraced.

Argentine Fernandez, 21, beamed with delight as he hugged his Chelsea team-mate.

And Blues fans were loving the exchange as they took to social media to react.

One said: “Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo’s reaction to Mykhailo Mudryk’s first-ever goal for Chelsea is so wholesome 💙.”

Another added: “Man Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo, these two are absolute vibes 😭😮‍💨.”
